Investment focus

The Alzana Group is seeking to make control investments in businesses which would benefit from its 

hands-on approach to company-building through targeted operational improvements, creative 

strategy development/execution, and/or strategic follow-on acquisitions.  

As a general guideline, Alzana prefers companies which are:

• Founder/Family-owned 
• In the Industrial, Business Services, Technology, Media, or Healthcare sectors 
• Generating zero-$5M EBITDA and at least $20M in revenue; strong growth not necessary
• Located in the United States or Canada
• Neither heavily cyclical/seasonal, nor capital-intensive 
• Well-positioned in solid markets, with interesting go-forward opportunities 

The Alzana Group can invest in a range of situations, from enabling founder/owner retirement to special or distressed situations to partnering with management to help them take their business to the next level. Alzana has the flexibility to invest up and down the capital stack and has successfully invested in senior secured debt, in addition to making traditional equity investments.
